Features

Built for the way studios actually run

Every feature maps to a real part of teaching: weekly lessons, real availability, clear policies, and notifications that keep everyone in sync.

Scheduling

Recurring lessons with per-occurrence control

A weekly lesson is a single series, expanded on the fly. Change one date without disturbing the rest, or move the whole series when a schedule shifts — all stored in your studio’s timezone and DST-safe.

  • 30 / 45 / 60-minute lessons on a weekly pattern
  • Override a single occurrence; pause, resume, or end a series
  • Teacher availability windows define what’s bookable
  • Timezone-aware recurrence survives daylight-saving changes

Self-service

Students reschedule into real open slots

When a student needs to move a lesson, they only see times their teacher is genuinely free — already filtered for bookings and your minimum-notice cutoff. No double bookings, no email chains.

  • Open-slot finder honors availability minus existing bookings
  • Minimum-notice cutoff and monthly reschedule limits
  • Single-occurrence or whole-series moves, where allowed
  • Admins and teachers can act on a student’s behalf

Policy controls

You decide what students can do

Each studio sets its own rules. Turn self-serve reschedules, series moves, and cancellations on or off, and set the notice and frequency that fit how you teach.

  • Toggle single reschedule, series reschedule, and cancel
  • Set minimum notice hours
  • Cap reschedules per month
  • Staff bypass limits when they need to

Notifications & calendar

Every change emailed, with a calendar invite

New lessons, reschedules, and cancellations send an email to both the student and teacher, each carrying an .ics calendar invite that updates cleanly in any calendar app. Everything sent is recorded.

  • Emails for new lesson, reschedule, and cancellation
  • Standards-based .ics invites (Google, Apple, Outlook)
  • Per-person opt-out for each notification type
  • Full delivery log / outbox visible to admins
